Sales Development Representative


About The Position

Iguazio is looking for a Sales Development Representative to be part of our all-star sales team and play a critical role in our mission to support the company’s growth.

The sales team is working closely with Iguazio’s leadership to evaluate and pursue opportunities to increase Iguazio market share.

You will be expected to obtain in-depth knowledge of the industry and Iguazio’s product, conduct market research, provide feedback, and help build a strong sales pipeline. Actively prospect for new clients, contact prospects from all marketing leads via email, phone, and digital touch points such as social media.

This is a great opportunity for someone that loves to learn and grow with one of the hottest Machine Learning startups. 

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect and qualify leads from a list of targeted accounts or industries, leveraging a range of sales and marketing tools
  • Conduct high level conversations with Senior Executives in prospect accounts
  • Develop long-term relationships with enterprise customer prospects through direct phone calls, emails, and social media
  • Work with the Sales and Leadership teams to identify leads, new accounts and qualify and schedule meetings or presentations
  • Stay informed of customer business opportunities, current conditions, prospects, active measurements, market conditions and competitive issues
  • Demonstrate a strong process and manage detailed records in HubSpot and other sales related tools
  • Achieve quarterly quotas of qualified opportunities and closed business

You must be focused, take initiative, be a great communicator and have excellent prioritization skills.

Does This Describe You?

  • Have 1-2 years of sales development experience in a start-up company
  • Be very technical, and able to quickly identify pain to provide prospects value
  • Assertive and responsible with great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Self-discipline, focus, and strong time-management skills
  • Methodological, detail oriented and organized
  • HubSpot expertise - a plus
  • Domain expertise in big data/data science/AI – a plus
  • Available to work West Coast business hours
